Every great food brand starts with a craving someone refused to compromise on.
Secret Burger Kitchen started inside a Holiday Inn hotel kitchen in Tacoma. Paul Sandhu and his nephew Mandeep. A pile of spices. One belief. If the flavor was real, people would find it.
No big launch. No backup plan. No sign on the door. Just an obsession with building the burger they wanted to eat, one recipe at a time.
People found it. That kitchen is still running today.
The Flavor Is Personal
Most people thought Paul was building another burger. He was not. He was building a flavor that hits deeper, stays longer, and keeps pulling people back.
Paul grew up in a Punjabi household where seasoning was never measured. It was felt. Passed down. Those flavors shaped how he thinks about food to this day.
When Paul built SBK, he did not walk away from that. He built the brand around it. The SBK seasoning blend gives every burger its signature depth. Rooted in his upbringing. Built for the smash. Distinct in every bite.
That blend is what makes SBK impossible to copy. You cannot pull it off a menu.
